At Surf Maroc, we believe in doing good and being good. And that’s what we do every day to help protect and develop our environment and community. We are making strides to make all of our locations sustainable, to support our local community, and to encourage others to do good and be good too.

Coming to Surf Maroc, you become part of our community. And we love when our guests get involved with All The Good Things we do. That can be as simple as using our Beach Clean Up Kits, coming to our charity Yoga classes, or using our filtered fountains.

Softboard and Equipment Donations

Every year, Surf Maroc replaces its old soft board with new ones. But of course, anything in good conditions never goes to waste! Along with spare leashes and equipment, all our old foamies are donated to local surf schools that teach local kids to surf.

Youth Surf program

The SM Youth Surf Program exists to support committed local youth surfers who lack access to appropriate equipment. The programme focuses on developing responsible, respectful surfers — not just better performance in the water.

Plastic Free Locations

We stand with the rest of the world with the fight against plastics in our beautiful ocean. By making some small yet significant changes, Surf Maroc locations have become completely plastic-free. Including the installation of water fountains for reusable bottles, eliminating straws and introducing re-usable lunch boxes, we are making big steps to reducing our impact on the environment.

Beach Cleans

We’re passionate about keeping our local area beautiful, clean and harmless to the ocean. To help, we employ beach cleaners to keep areas by our locations litter free. This small daily action not only helps our environment but is also encouraging others to think before they drop.

Organic, local & fresh produce

All of our products are seasonal and locally sourced. By using local suppliers, we’re able to support the local community, reduce our impact on the environment and provide our guests with the best, freshest produce. We’re very proud to be working with Our herbs and goat’s cheese comes from Domaine De Khenfouf, an organic farm, and vegetables come from a community organic farming project.

Taghazout art project

Surf Maroc has been thrilled to support the Taghazout Art Project.

The Taghazout Art Project recognises and believes in developing the artistic potential of Taghazout youth. Every year, the project chooses an ambitious art programme for young school children in the community, allowing them to explore their creative potential.

Good Events

When ever the opportunity arises, Surf Maroc hosts and partakes in low key events for its staff and guests to help raise money and awareness for local causes. From Earth Day events to taking part in Surfrider Beach cleans and more.
