Advanced Surf Spots
Morocco is home to some world-famous waves. From Safi further north to the Crown Jewel of Moroccan surfing, Anchor Point. These premier surf spots are best suited to the more advanced surfers due to their challenging conditions and powerful waves.

Mysteries
Rocky right hand reef neighboured by La Source and Anchors. Get’s it’s name from the Mysterious rock’s that lay beneath the small critical take off. Sucky, pitching take off with fun, workable walls.

Anchor Point
The Point of Taghazout. Long peeling right hander, Pitchy take-off’s with walling sections to let loose on until you hit the inside drainers.

Killer POINT
Killer Whales can sometimes be seen in the summer, which is where the spot takes it’s name. The wave offers rewards to those who are prepared to paddle the distance. Linking sections can mean leg burning rides.

BOILERs
A fast, technical reef with a tricky shallow entry, offering quick, hollow walls and linking sections. Best at mid to high tide, it’s perfect for intermediate to advanced surfers.

Desert Point
Desert Point is a popular surf spot in Morocco known for its hollow, fast, and accessible right-hand break. The point is known for its rocky bottom, transitioning into a beautiful beach break.

Tamri
20 minutes North, Tamri is a long beach with multiple sand bottomed peaks. It gets lots of swell making it a great option for when the Taghazout area is very small.

Camel Point
A large rock that resembles a Camel over looks a sandy beach and headland with a fickle sand bottom point break breaking off it. Suitable for all levels.

Imsouane
Known for it's legendary long right hand point break in the magic bay, offering endless rides perfect for honing technique and epic sessions. Also, Cathedral Point offers a more powerful and often hollower reef break.

ANZA
A consistent reef break with punchy sections and sandy bottom areas, Anza offers powerful waves that challenge advanced surfers, especially on bigger swells.

Banana Point
Small beach tucked between the usually dry Tamraght rivermouth and a cape offering some N wind protection. A long easy right point breaking over sand and cobble stone.

Devils Rock | K14
Just a 10 minute drive South of Taghazout, Devils rock is an easy, sometimes hollow wave breaking over a sandy bottom, producing easy left and right handers.

Panorama
On the egde of Taghazout village you find panoramas. A long sand bottomed point break at low and forgiving beach break at high. Sheltered from winds.

Hash Point
Hash point sits between Taghazout’s two central bays and directly in front of Taghazout Villa and Amoauge. Needing a fair amount of swell and not quite the same quality as the nearby waves, but offer fun rides when they are on.

La Source
An A-frame peak offering up rights and lefts, La Source gets its name from a freshwater spring on the inside rocks that creates 'the well'.
Intermediate Surf Spots
These waves are a bit more user friendly than the advanced surf spots and give more opportunity for surfers to progress and challenge themselves safely and without the hustle of a pro crowd.

Beginner Surf Spots
These sand bottom beach breaks and mellow points are perfect for people early on in their surf journeys. Practice your techniques while you get loads of waves in a spot that is safe and suitable for your level. But just cause these are considered 'beginner' spots, definitely doesn't mean they don't pump.
